Always an Adventure Guide is fortunate to be located in the state of New York, where there is some of the best fishing in the country. There is world class fishing for a wide variety of cold and warm water species. There is something special here for everyone. But especially the fishing. With over 7,500 lakes and ponds, 70,000 miles of rivers and streams, and hundreds of miles of shoreline, fishing is never far.
The cost is $200 a person. We focus fishing the West Canada Creek. Best times for West Canada Creek are May until late summer. Late summer and early fall the Salmon River is a likely place. We are always open to a place you’d like to try. Besides Salmon and Walleye, we prefer only catch and release trips. We’ll drift on a Flycraft with stops along the way to wade promising holes. We take two people but if you have a party up to four, we may be able to accommodate with the assistance of another guide. We will provide you with fishing gear or you are welcome to come ready with your own gear. We supply all the flies or lures. No experience is necessary. If you have a selection of your favorite fly patterns or lures that you would like to try, we encourage you to bring them along. All fishing trips are for 4 to 6 hours on the water, morning, or evening hours. We will stop and have a snack and drinks will be provided. Every trip is focused on you and will be planned around you. My day job is selling Bobcat compact equipment with Warner Sales & Service. I have been fishing for as long as I can remember and have many fond memories of fishing. For me fishing is a great way to get out in nature and enjoy all its beauty and wonder. Let the serenity it offers give you an opportunity to relax.
